The brand-new (opened in October 2007) Tisza Balneum Thermal Hotel including a conference centre is situated on a beautiful peninsula.

Unique nature surrounds the hotel, located right on the shore of Lake Tisza in Tiszafüred. The complex consists of a three-storey main building and 9 two-storey detached houses, set in 4,5 acres of landscaped gardens. The 4-star hotel provides an excellent setting for holding events and for truly relaxing holidays.

Hotel information

With its dazzling white walls, the complex catches the eye from a long distance whether you approach from the lake or on road 33. The centre accommodating up to 224 guests is set in four and a half acres of landscaped parkland. Facilities for our guests include tennis courts and areas set aside for sunbathing or fishing, as well as a car park and moorings for boats.

A restaurant caters for 150 guests inside and a further 100 outside on the terrace. 2 separate rooms offer additional seating capacity, one for 200 and the other for a further 120 guests. This means we are easily able to accommodate conferences or other special events.

Our wellness centre offers an outdoor swimming pool, as well as 2 indoor pools. A Jacuzzi, a Finnish sauna, a steam bath and a fitness suite also awaits our guests, along with treatment salons where you can enjoy body and facial treatments, special baths and a variety of beauty therapies. All pools are filled with mineral rich water from the hotel’s own 44°C thermal spring.

Food & beverage

The master chefs surprise gourmets with a range of mouth-watering local and international specialities and are more than happy to meet the needs of those on special diets. Dining can be made truly extraordinary when accompanied by a selection of speciality wines from the hotel's cellars, some of them bottled by the hotel itself.

Room information

The 44 double rooms and 7 suites in the main building allow a comfortable stay for 116 guests at a time. The 9 separated cabins contain 18 elegant, fully equipped suites for 108 guests. Eight of our rooms can be joined together: an excellent option for larger families or groups of friends. Most of the equipment and furniture in our rooms and suites are made from natural materials. The comfortable, custom-made wicker and wood furniture creates a cosy atmosphere all around the hotel. All rooms and suites are air-conditioned, and have a terrace or balcony and a bathroom (with bathtub or shower). When checking availability you will see a complete list of in-room facilities. Smoking is not allowed in our rooms, but upon request of our guests we can set up a friendly smoking area on the terrace.

The rooms overlooking the lake or the park are 23 to 27 m² in size and the suites in the main building are 40 m², while cabins are 84 m².

Area information

The geographical location of Tiszafüred means that you have a large choice of activities. Visitors are able to explore the region’s most beautiful locations (for example: Hortobágy, Eger and / or Tokaj) either on their own or by taking part in one of the organized trips.

Set in beautiful surroundings on 1.8 hectares the hotel complex offers the perfect opportunity to relax on the lakeside. There you can also find a harbour with jetties. For more adventurous guests we offer activities like horse riding, hunting and cycling. You can also try some of the aquatic activities, such as kayaking, fishing or cruising round the lake in a boat.

Nature lovers can enjoy the unique pleasures offered in the tranquil setting of the nearby arboretum, not to mention the national park and the bird sanctuary.
